A crucial ministry of the Church is to teach children that they belong to Jesus Christ, and some of the best ways for children to learn who Jesus is and why we love Him so is through worshipping with the whole congregation and having intentional time with older committed teachers/mentors of the faith.
To that end, you and your whole family - kids included! - are always welcome in worship. We love to hear their “praises” during worship (but if you don't there is a cry room located just in the back of the sanctuary where you can still see and hear the service). Let your children come in and worship with you to see how we all worship together as the family of God. Of course, children also need a space to learn, play and grow just as children. To that end, there are a few other places children are invited during worship:
Creating nativity scenes in Kids Kirk
Nursery:Infants to 2 years old are welcome in the nursery from the beginning of the service until the end.
Kid’s Kirk: Children ages 3 and up are invited to leave with a teacher after the children’s message for a program for children duringKids Kirk(“Kirk” is Scottish for “Church”), where they will be led through a weekly rhythm of gathering in God’s grace, responding in gratitude, and loving and serving God.
